Day 1
International arrival in Lima
At your international arrival in Lima, considered as City of Kings in colonial times, you will be welcomed by an agent from our company, who will receive you gladly and transfer you to the exclusive and elegant Miraflores Park Hotel 5*, which belongs to the Orient Express Chain. In this hotel you will have a suite at your disposition with a privileged view of the Pacific Ocean, the very same that was cleaved by pirates and corsairs during the XVIII century. In the afternoon you will be able to enjoy a relaxing Peruvian massage with hot stones at the hotel’s spa, in order for you to feel renovated and recharged to get to know the wonders of this trip.
Day 2
City of Cusco and Incan archaeological sites
Buffet Breakfast. Transfer to the airport early in the morning to take a plane to Cusco. At your arrival, our representative will take you to the beautiful and historical Hotel Monasterio 5* of the Orient Express Chain. These gorgeous precincts regarded as historical monument are located on the plot of the former palace of Inca Amaru Qhala, where the Seminary of San Antonio Abad was built in the XVI century. This is why you will be able to sense an air of solemnity combined with luxury, elegance and comfort of a modern 5* hotel in here. You will have the rest of the morning off to rest and acclimatize with relaxing massages at the hotel’s spa. In this way we will find balance in our emotions and renew our energies in the hands of a specialist, complemented with music therapy and aromatherapy based on Kantu, the sacred flower of the Incas, drinking, besides, a comforting Andean beverage. Then you will enjoy a light lunch at the hotel’s restaurant. In the afternoon we will get to know the City of Cusco, visiting the Plaza Mayor, the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun or Korikancha. The excursion continues outside the city to visit the Incan archaeological sites of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the impressive Fortress of Sacsayhuaman.
The Casa Cabrera is located in one of the most gentle and welcoming places in Cusco, such as the Plazoleta de las Nazarenas, and holds this museum dedicated to sticking out the art of Peruvian ancient cultures. By means of a modern museography, it shows an important collection of pottery, gold and jewels of ancient Peruvian cultures; its didactic rooms allow us to learn about the 3,000 years of our country’s archaeological splendor, including a selection of erotic pieces from ancient Peru.
Besides, in this house you can visit the museum’s gallery, where you can purchase replicas of the pieces of the Museum of Pre Columbian Art, as well as souvenirs and interesting books about Peruvian archaeology. Likewise, H. Stern Jewelry and the Alpaca 111 Boutique, where sweaters, coats and accessories made of the best fiber of vicuña, guanaco, alpaca and llama are on exhibition for sale. If you wish you can also have lunch at the museum’s restaurant, which is one of the most renowned in the imperial city.
Day 3
Sacred Valley of the Incas
Buffet Breakfast. Guided excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, on the way we will visit the Awana Kancha Museum, which means Palace of Weaving. It can be considered the first Living Museum of the Peruvian Andes. Here you will have the chance to contemplate the majestic techniques of traditional weaving with wool of South American camelids such as the llama, alpaca and vicuña, among others. We will watch the dyeing, yarning, warping and weaving processes live, made by the local people. You will be able to purchase high-quality traditional and industrial textiles. Besides, you can take your picture standing by these camelids, so important for our Andean – Ecological world. Then we will visit the archaeological site of Pisac and its famous market, where you can buy a great variety of Andean handicraft. We will have lunch at the nice and comfortable Huayoccari Hacienda. In this hacienda you will be able to appreciate an exquisite collection of colonial art, exhibitions of textile art from Cusco, besides enjoying cocktails in the garden and take pleasure in a delicious lunch. This hacienda is located on top of a small hill and has a beautiful view of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. In the afternoon we will continue our tour toward the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo going through the Towns of Calca and Urubamba. Return to the hotel in Cusco. In the night we suggest you stroll by the Plaza de Armas.
During our tour across the Sacred Valley we will visit the shop-gallery of the artist and scholar of pre Incan ceramic techniques, Pablo Seminario, whose pieces are exhibited in renowned galleries in Cusco and abroad. His wife and other local artists will introduce us into an atmosphere of infinite symbols and gods materialized in clay in the shape of murals, utilitarian objects and adornments. You can buy a souvenir if you wish.
Day 4
Millenarian Citadel of Machu Picchu
Buffet Breakfast. On this day we will get to know the majestic Citadel of Machu Picchu. You will be transferred to the train station of Poroy and set off at 9.00 a.m. for an unforgettable trip crossing the Sacred Valley watching unmatchable landscapes and microclimates of the Andes and the forest brow. This journey is catalogued as one of the most spectacular in the world and we will enjoy it onboard the comfortable and luxurious Hiram Bingham train, where you will be served an exquisite brunch. A tourist guide will tell you about the most interesting places along the way. Arriving in Aguas Calientes, the closest town to Machu Picchu, we will go on an excursion to the citadel with a specialized guide touring the same places walked by the Incas. During the approx. 3-hour tour we will appreciate the advanced architectonic level of the Incas, as well as the water canals, flights of stairs carved in the rock, the Intihuatana or solar clock, the Royal Tomb, the House of the Priest, the Temple of the Three Windows and the Baths of the Inca. We will enjoy lunch at the Tinkuy Restaurant of the Hotel Sanctuary Lodge, located at the entrance of the archaeological site; before departing we will taste a delicious Tea Time. At 18:00 hours we will board again the Hiram Bingham train to return to Cusco, on the way we will be offered aperitifs, live artistic shows and a sumptuous dinner including 3 courses and dessert. Our representative will be waiting for you at the train station of Poroy to transfer you to your hotel.

Day 5
Lima – City Tour – International Departure
Buffet Breakfast. In the morning and in due time, you will be transferred to the airport to take your returning flight to Lima. You will have a room at your disposition at the Orient Express Miraflores Park Hotel 5* until your international departure. On this day we will visit Lima "City of Kings” and get to know the most representative attractions, such as the city’s Historic Center, where we will have a panoramic view of the Plaza San Martin, the Plaza Mayor, the Palace of Government, the Cathedral Basilica, the Archiepiscopal Palace, the Municipal Palace, the Church of Santo Domingo, etc. If you wish we will visit the catacombs of the Convent of San Francisco to walk through some of its passageways and end up exactly under the central nave of this beautiful church of renaissance and baroque styles. Then we will visit the residential districts of San Isidro and Miraflores, where we will have the chance to visit one of the two most representative huacas of the Culture of Lima, such as the Huaca Pucllana and the Huaca Huallamarca, both located in the midst of urban zones contrasting the pre Columbian legacy with the modern world. Then we will be able to visit El Olivar Park in San Isidro, called like this for having a representative number of olive trees brought in from Spain during the XVI century. Besides, we will visit Miraflores’ Central Park and the shopping mall of Larcomar, a tourist and entertainment center, and a privileged spot to appreciate a spectacular panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean. At this shopping mall we will have the chance to visit a show room exhibiting representative objects of the Gold Museum of Peru. In this place we will appreciate pieces made of gold and silver that show the advanced development of the pre-Hispanic civilizations in the field of metallurgy. The outstanding hand of the Peruvian craftsmen using a stone hammer made pieces that nowadays would need a laminator jut out on this exhibition, showing the validity of the Andean millenarian Cosmovision as well.
After lunch at your restaurant of choice you will have the chance to visit a private museum such as the Pedro de Osma Museum or the Amano Museum; or to visit some shops offering products made of alpaca or jewels made of silver. For the latter we will go to the shopping mall of Larcomar, where we will show you the most exclusive jewelry shops exhibiting gold and silverworks, besides garments made of fine vicuña and alpaca wool. If you wish you will have the chance to purchase an exclusive replica of the fine jewel adornment of the Inca elite, or show off a garment made of vicuña whose fiber is the finest in the world. Then we will return to your hotel. We will transfer you to the airport in due time in order for you to take your international flight.
