International arrival in Lima
Assistance on arrival at the international airport of Lima and transfer to your hotel (not included). Here you will receive a briefing on your tour; receive vouchers for the provision of all services included in the tour and the start of its journey through Peru.

Day 2
Lima: City Tour
Morning to rest after your international travel, so we recommend sleeping late and ready to start this unforgettable journey through this wonderful Peru. Free time for lunch. We recommend you do it at the hotel. In the afternoon, guided tour the most important places and attractions of Lima, the "City of Kings". The tour includes tour of the Historic Center of Lima, panoramic view of the Plaza San Martin, Plaza Mayor, Government Palace, Cathedral, Archbishop's Palace, Municipal Palace, Church of Santo Domingo, where the tombs of Santa Rosa and San Martin de Porres, Lima Colonial and balconies. Then visit the Convent and Church of San Francisco, the greatest monumental complex of Colonial Art in America and Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The tour includes a visit to the Basilica of 21 altars, convent cloisters and chapter rooms and tangerine, Chorus and Library of the monks, museum that displays 11 paintings of the Rubens School, the Sacristy with paintings by Zurbaran and Rivera, great patio decorated with Seville tiles of XVI century, Moorish arches and underground catacombs. Finally, we visit the residential districts of San Isidro and Miraflores, passing by the Huaca Pucllana, ceremonial and administrative center of the Lima Culture built in the second century A.D. and considered by the Incas as Ñaupallaqta, "Holy People"; Park El Olivar de San Isidro, with olive trees brought from Spain in the fifteenth century; the Central Park of Miraflores and Larcomar, tourist and entertainment center, a symbol of modern Lima and vantage point to appreciate a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. Return to hotel in Lima. Lunch on your own.

Day 3
Lima / Arequipa City Tour and Countryside
Breakfast. Morning transfer to the airport for your flight to Arequipa (not included). Upon arrival, meet with our representative and transfer to your hotel. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon, guided tour of the city of Arequipa, including the Plaza de Armas, one of the most beautiful of Peru; the Cathedral, an example of Peruvian architecture during the nineteenth century which houses precious treasures of gold and silver; and the Church of the Company, former Jesuit temple, maybe the most important of Arequipa by history and tradition, with a beautiful façade with carved columns, laurel crowns, flowers, birds, etc. A careful look reveals that European influence had its limits: the angels have Indian faces. Even one of them wears a crown of feathers. Then visit the convent of Santa Catalina, a "small city" of the seventeenth century opened to the public in 1970 after 400 years of faculty, transporting visitors in the past four centuries. It will cover numerous and spacious patios and gardens, the kitchen and slave quarters and stone washtubs of this convent. About 20 nuns still live in a section of the convent, which once housed up to 500 cloistered nuns .A then we make an excursion to the beautiful countryside of Arequipa, visiting the Sabandia Mill, flour mill built in 1621, driven by waters of a cascade and which currently is operating. The Founder's Mansion, an estate of the sixteenth century belonging to the founder of the city, Lord Lieutenant of Governed and Governor Garcia Manuel de Carbajal, then sold to the Jesuits, who used it as a retreat, then passed into the hands of the Goyeneche family . Highlights among its attractions and beautiful restored chapel. Return to Arequipa and transfer to the hotel.

Day 4
Arequipa / Juliaca / Puno: Sillustani in route
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your flight to the city of Juliaca. Upon arrival, transfer to Puno, en route visit the famous Sillustani, cylinder burial chambers used by the Aymaras to bury the high priests. Lake Umayo, located in front of the Chullpas, only adds beauty to the place. Here you will have the opportunity to observe several local typical birds zone. Transfer to your hotel. Lunch on your own. Overnight in your hotel.

Day 5
Puno: Uros and Taquile Islands
Early in the morning, we will have an unforgettable motorboat excursion on Lake Titicaca to visit the floating islands of the Uros, ancient pre-Inca Lake, settlers known as the Water Tribe. These Andean natives built their own islands by periodically adding new layers of totora (Scirpus totora), vegetable fiber of the Papyrus family. They also use this material to build their houses and boats. We continue sailing to Taquile Island, inhabited by Quechua-speaking natives who have developed from generation to generation, an efficient and original social system while a magnificent weaving technique. Upon arrival lunch. Then we will walk through the various hills and archaeological sites. In the afternoon, return to Puno and transfer to hotel.

Day 6
Puno / Cusco
Breakfast. Morning departure by bus to Cusco. We travel along the high plateau of Collao, stopping at the town of Ayaviri, an important center of textile and animal husbandry, to visit the impressive Temple of Kalasaya, ruins of ancient culture Pucara. Along the way, we stop in Rachi, where we can see a spectacular Inca Sanctuary built by the Inca Pachacutec and dedicated to the great Inca God Wiracocha. It has a great central wall with a stone base of fine Inca architecture. The other walls are made of giant adobe bricks. The structure also has two circular lateral columns. Around the Temple are several buildings once used as housing or warehouse. Approximately 70 km later, we pass through La Raya Ranch where we can see herds of llamas and vicunas. During the trip, we pass by the lovely lake Wacarpay that offers spectacular views of the mountains reflected in its calm waters.
We continue to the beautiful town of Andahuaylillas, and visit the church of San Pedro de Andahuaylillas, better known as the Sistine Chapel of the Americas, due to its polychrome ceiling. Buffet lunch in a quiet countryside restaurant, where you can enjoy the delightful culinary art of the region. Upon arrival in Cusco, arrival and transfer to your hotel. Dinner on your own.

Day 7
Cusco: City tour and visit to the nearby ruins
Breakfast. Free time in the morning. Lunch on your own.
In the afternoon, we guided tour of Cusco visiting the Main Square, the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun or Korikancha. The tour continues outside the city to visit the Inca sites of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman, strategically built on a hill overlooking Cusco complex. Famous for its enormous carved stones joined with astounding precision to form the outer walls of the complex. Some of them standing over 9 meters. Tall and weigh over 350 tons.
Return to Cusco ( Regocijo Square)

Day 8
Cusco: The Sacred Valley
Guided excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, over the Vilcanota River for a panoramic view of the Inca citadel of Pisac and visit a typical Indian Market town of Pisac, where we will have the opportunity to learn about the customs of its inhabitants and haggle prices with vendors. Lunch at a local restaurant in the Sacred Valley.
In the afternoon, stroll through Calca and Urubamba on the way to the Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasion from the tribes of the jungle. We will have the opportunity to walk through the narrow streets and get a clear idea of what this strategic military, religious and cultural center during the Inca Empire. Return to Cusco (Plaza Regocijo). Free night. We suggest strolling around the Main Square and enjoy the nightlife of Cusco, enjoying a Pisco Sour in some of the many pubs around the square.

Day 9
Cusco / Aguas Calientes / Cusco: Machu Picchu
Early in the morning, we will go to the train station for a three hour drive to the Citadel of Machu Picchu, known as "The Lost City of the Incas". Arrive at Aguas Calientes station to take the bus to take us on a journey of 20 minutes, rising by a zigzag path, to the incredible Machu Picchu. The tour includes a guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and the cemeteries. Free time to stroll around the citadel. In the afternoon return to Cusco by train and transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 10
Cusco / Puerto Maldonado
Breakfast. Transportation to the airport for your flight to Puerto Maldonado. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the port of Madre de Dios River. After the river trip will start a short hike to reach a small canal where we board a canoe that will take us to Lake Sandoval. There, we turn to a catamaran that will take us to the Sandoval Lake Lodge. After lunch, the catamaran to visit the western part of the lake. At dusk the macaws come to this area to spend the night or stay in their nests. Dinner. At night, the canoes to go in search of Black Caiman.

Day 11
Tambopata: Sandoval Lake
Before breakfast, we visit the Lake where birds come out early in search of food, and with a little luck, we can see river otters fishing, species that is endangered. Return to the lodge for breakfast and then observe how our hosts collect, open and commercialize chestnuts, a very important product in the economy of the area. Lunch and time to rest. In the afternoon, we visit the eastern part of the lake where you can see one or more of the five species of monkeys that live in the area highlighting the Capuchín. Return to the lodge for dinner. At night, we have the option to rescan black caimans in the lake or make a walk through primary forest.

Day 12
Tambopata: Sandoval Lake
In the morning, we cross the lake by catamaran and continue a short hike into the forest to get an interesting view of the congregations of birds such as parrots and macaws. We cross the lake again to explore a path of primary forest to see the big trees of the rainforest. Return for lunch. Free afternoon to rest and for those with power may walk the trails. Then we board the catamaran to explore the eastern side of the lake and watch a breathtaking sunset. After dinner, we will have the last opportunity to observe the black caimans in the lake.

Day 13
Tambopata / Lima
After breakfast, a last short visit to the lake in the west. Departure to the Madre de Dios River to board the boat that will take us to Puerto Maldonado and from there to the airport. Upon arrival in Lima, transfer to your hotel (not included).

Lima - International Departure
