DAY 01: HUARAZ IN / HUARAZ CITY TOUR / MONTERREY HOT SPRINGS
Reception and transfer to hotel. City tour by the city of Huaraz, we visited the Temple of the Lord of Solitude, typical street José Olaya, the Trout Hatchery, Bay City and hot springs Monterrey where we enjoy a relaxing dip in the pool or pools individual. DAY 02: CALLEJON DE HUAYLAS / LLANGANUCO LAGOON
Tour by "Callejon de Huaylas” formed by white and black mountains, visit the beautiful villages of Anta, Marcara, Carhuaz (where we enjoy the fruit ices), Cemetery of Yungay, following a short 26km road. We arrived at the Laguna de Llanganuco (Chinacocha), a beautiful blue lagoon and cold water. Return to observe the flora and fauna, Lunch in Caraz. Visit the town center Tarica and demonstration of pottery making. Return to Huaraz. Overnight in Huaraz.
DAY 03: CHAVIN DE HUANTAR EXCURSION
Culture and recreation in the "Callejon de Conchucos”. The tour will be made by the city of Recuay, Ticapampa, Catac, Laguna de Querococha where ecological failure map of Peru, continuing through the gorge will cross the Cordillera Blanca through the Cahuish tunnel, the highest in the world with a length observed 480 meters in length. DAY 04: TRUJILLO IN / TRUJILLO CITY TOUR
Reception at the bus agency or airport and transfer to the hotel. Start the city tour, visiting Colonial Trujillo. Visit by the guide, the Plaza de Armas and the Freedom Monument, the Cathedral, the House Calonge Urquiaga, Emancipation House, the Plazuela Recreation, La Merced Church, then take a guided tour to the Museum of Archaeology UNT or Toy Museum or the Cassinelli Museum. Overnight in Trujillo.
DAY 05: EXCURSION HUACAS SUN AND MOON / CHAN CHAN / HUANCHACO
Pick up from your hotel. Exit to the Moche. We visited the Museum of Moche Temples, featuring ceramic pieces that show the Moche iconography. Then visit the Huaca de la Luna, Moche religious center, full of murals in high relief with the representation of their god AIAPAEC or the Horseless, warriors, dancers, animals, giant spiders, abstract motifs, etc. From here appreciate the "Huaca del Sol”, pyramid of 43 meters high, built for administrative purposes. Also the Moche Urban Zone, which was the area where the high society of the Moche lived. Lunch. Departure to Huaca Arco Iris (Huaca Dragon), used as a shrine by the ancient Chimu, decorated with figures representing the fertility of the land. We visited the Museum of Chan Chan Site, where we can see the lifestyle of the Chimu villager, ceramics and metalwork. We will visit some of the 9 palaces of Chan Chan Citadel, the Nikan Palace (ex Tschudi Palace), which has different environments with friezes of various marine motifs, such as: Ceremonial Plaza, Corridor fish and birds, among others. Finally we will go to Huanchaco where we can make buying craft, spotted the famous horses of reeds and stroll along the pier. Arrival to Trujillo. Overnight in Trujillo.
DAY 06: EXCURSION TO THE WITCH AND THE LADY OF CAO / TRUJILLO OUT
Departure to the Chicama Valley to the town of Magdalena de Cao to visit the Archaeological Complex El Brujo, which consists of Huaca Prieta, Starting Huaca (Huaca el Brujo), and "Huaca Cao Viejo” with decorations in high relief of Aiapaec God represented in the murals, here too the Lady of Cao, who possibly was the ruler and priestess of that place was found. Cao at the Museum of the pieces found in the tomb of the Lady of Cao (ceramics, etc. Jewels in gold, silver and precious stones) are displayed. Also we observe the mummy of the Lady of Cao, with tattoos on his arms and legs, incredibly well preserved, which are seen in detail. Arrival in Trujillo. Transfer to the bus agency. Bus Trujillo Chachapoyas.
DAY 07: CHACHAPOYAS IN / EXCURSION TO KUELAP
Reception and transfer to hotel. We started the tour and start from Chachapoyas, after 1 hour you get to the archaeological site of Macro (a "Llacta" position Chachapoyas Military Surveillance), then continue through villages such as New Tingo, Choctamal, Longuita and Maria, reaching parking area in Malca Pampa. Then we walk about 15 to 20 minutes to enter Kuelap where we will visit different places as ceremonial halls, the tower, the inkwell, rooms, etc. The tour lasts approximately 3 hours. After lunch at Maria, then we visit the workshop of textile crafts of Maria (communal enterprise of rural women). We return to Chachapoyas. Overnight in Chachapoyas.
DAY 08: GOCTA FALLS EXCURSION / PITAYA PETROGLYPHS
At the appointed time we will move in our direction vehicle to People Cocachimba, 1:30 minutes distant from Chachapoyas, on the way we will pause to observe the petroglyphs of the Pitaya, minutes later we arrived in the picturesque village of Cocachimba from there begin 3 hour hike to the waterfall Gocta in'll watch cane fields, the typical sugar mill, enjoy the flora and fauna with the great view of the waterfall of Gocta (771 meters). We cocachimba return to where we will taste a typical lunch. Then we return to Chachapoyas. Overnight in Chachapoyas.
DAY 09: SARCOPHAGUS KARAJIA EXCURSION / CAVE QUIOCTA / CHACHAPOYAS OUT
Transfer in our vehicle towards the province of Luya - Lamud continuing our journey visiting the villages of Cohechan and Cruz Pata from this point walk for 20 minutes to the burial site of the Sarcophagus of Karajia or Purunmachus (Quechua purun means wild and machu means old), as a single burial in the world, made of stone, wood and clay, with anthropomorphic form, which can measure up to 2.5 meters high. Guided tour, returning lunch in the city of Lamud, in the afternoon visit the Caverns Quiocta with 550 meters deep where stalagmites and stalactites were observed. Transfer to the bus agency. DAY 10: IN TRUJILLO / CHICLAYO CITY TOUR
Reception and transfer to hotel. Visit the city: Plaza Mayor, Cathedral, Theatre on May 2 and Warlocks market, also called market Arbolario where shamans or healers sell mystics, herbs and others for counter tops and session’s shaman craft products. Overnight in Chiclayo.
DAY 11: Sipan / PIRAMIDES TUCUME / MUSEUM Tombs of Sipan
Pick up from your hotel. Starting the excursion to the Archaeological Complex Sipan, where it was found the tomb of the Lord of Sipan. Visit the museum. Departure to the Archaeological Complex of Tucume Pyramids, a valley which houses 26 adobe pyramids attesting to the exceptional era of the Lambayeque culture. Also we visit the site museum where pottery is exhibited the same culture. Lunch. We continue our tour with the Royal Tombs of Sipan in Lambayeque, where the original remains of Sipan are on display, as well as more than 400 pieces including: earrings, necklaces, jewelry, ornaments and headdresses made of gold, silver, turquoise, spondyllus, cotton and feathers. Overnight in Chiclayo.
DAY 12: EXCURSION SICAN MUSEUM / FOREST POMAC / CHICLAYO OUT
We start the tour, visiting the National Sican Museum, located in the city Ferreñafe, there we can see the pieces found in the tomb of the Lord of Sican in Gold Huaca in the Archaeological Complex of Batan Grande. The legend says that Naylamp was the god who created the Sican, and is represented in many of the ceramics. The Sican or Lambayeque are known for their metallurgical art as gold funerary masks and "tumi" or ceremonial knives. Then we went to Pómac Forest Historical Sanctuary, which houses mostly carob and zapotes as well as plenty of wildlife. Also visit the "Huaca Loro’; the ancient tree, a carob tree more than 500 years and the lookout from where we have a spectacular view of the archaeological and natural environment of the forest Seco.Return to Chiclayo. Transfer to the bus agency. Bus Chiclayo Cajamarca.
DAY 13: IN TRUJILLO / CITY TOUR
Reception and transfer to hotel. Starting the tour in the city, where we will visit the Plaza Mayor, the Church of St. Catherine of Alexandria (Cathedral), San Francisco Church (catacombs), Ransom Room, Church Bethlehem, Colonial Hospital of men and women (Archaeological Museum, ethnographic and Medico), Cerro Santa Poland, the Silla del Inca, natural lookout where the city and Cajamarca valley. Return to Cajamarca. Overnight in Cajamarca.
DAY 14: TOUR CUMBEMAYO / OTUZCO
Pick up from your hotel. Visit the natural viewpoint Bellavista, Lanzon, Forest Park, reaching Cumbemayo, where we find the famous forest of rocks or Fraylones, The Sanctuary, caves or shelters, The Stone of Sacrifice, ceremonial altars, petroglyphs (stone writing) Hydraulic Canal 3,000 years old and the aqueduct. Lunch. Enjoy the beauty of Cajamarca Valley and Chonta River, where the suspension bridge will cross, here you can ride a horse, then visit the necropolis of Otuzco (Cemetery Cajamarca Culture), then we'll go to the Garden of Hydrangeas Giants where you will find Cajamarca craft, then tour the Ranch "Tres Molinos" and Fundo "the Alps" where you can enjoy dairy products and finally the cheese factory. Overnight in Cajamarca.
DAY 15: TOUR PORCON / EXCURSION TO LICK / INCA BATHS
Pick up from your hotel. Visit the Artisan Center Carved Stone Huambocancha, then we will enter the Farm Porcón (Cooperative Atahualpa Jerusalem), where we will enjoy the artificial forest of Peru's largest Pine trees, workshops crafts men and women, and Zoo where we find several jaguars, pumas, spectacled bears, buffalos, lions, monkeys, and more: animal’s species. Lunch. Visit the house of the former ranch "La Collpa”, artificial Lagoon, Chapel of the "Virgin of Carmen’, livestock facilities in the Central Stable know, we will see the cows are called by name, tasting Dairy. Then we go to Llacanora (picturesque and typical village of the mountains), where we enjoy beautiful waterfalls and finally know the famous Inca Baths, the well Inca and perolitos (hot springs). Return to Cajamarca. Overnight in Cajamarca.
DAY 16: CAJAMARCA OUT
Free day. At a proper time, transfer to the airport or bus agency.
