DAY 02: Chiclayo: Túcume

After breakfast visit the archaeological complex of Tucume or Valley of the Pyramids (40 minutes from Chiclayo), an important archaeological complex of the Lambayeque culture (BC 1,000 / 1,350 AD), consisting of pyramids from which you can see extension pre-Columbian urbanization.

DAY 03: The Lord of Sipan Royal Tombs of Sipan

After breakfast, excursion to the impressive necropolis Rajada 40 minutes from the city of Chiclayo, funeral center of the Mochica culture where many tombs have been discovered, Huaca the most important are those of the Lord of Sipan (III and V century) , famous for its objects in gold and semi-precious stones. Discovered in the 80s by a group of Peruvian archaeologists led by Dr. Walter Alva.

In the afternoon visit the Royal Tombs of Sipan museum where you can see a replica of the tomb of the Lord of Sipan, and various ceramics and metalwork. This museum has been rated by experts as one of the best and most modern in South America. Transfer to your hotel.
